Andrea Nguyen is a sought after, elite hairstylist in Edmonton Alberta. Her passion for entrepreneurship and mentorship has been the foundation of her success. She has founded 3 multi award winning businesses in the beauty industry, Ivory Noir Salon, Kumi Nail Beauty Bar and BeMi Beauty Box.

​With 20 years of hair colour correcting expertise along with leading her elite team at Edmonton's first colour correction salon, Ivory Noir Salon, Andrea now has a vision to raise the bar to elevate the salon industry once more. Her vision for Mentor'd salon is to create an unparalleled education focused salon with exceptional teamwork amongst creative, passionate and driven hairstylists.

Andrea discovered her passion for hair early on in life. Growing up with a mom who is a hairstylist, Andrea saw how rewarding this industry was. Upon graduation from Marvel College in 2002, she has devoted herself to the Edmonton community, striving to always set a higher standard in the hair industry.

​Andrea is dedicated to offering impeccable service and quality workmanship to ensure your salon experience is none other than total satisfaction. She has been able to share her knowledge with others as she became a colour educator and a business development specialist with an international powerhouse company, Wella Canada.

As a master stylist, she has been able to mentor apprentices and junior stylists to help them build their skills and business mindset for success.

Junior Stylist

​Chelsey is a Marvel College Graduate who is passionate about balayages and foil work. As an apprentice I her goal is working towards becoming a fully licensed hairstylist,  expanding on her knowledge in the field and growing in her career.

Chelsey joined the Mentor’d Salon by Ivory Noir Team to learn and provide services in a structure and organized environment. Through theory classes and hands on learning her goal is to become a master colorist!
